WELCOME,

Congratulations!

I would love to have the opportunity to be with you at one of the happiest days of your life. Every wedding I have done has given me a true appreciation for the tremendous amount of faith entrusted to me.

It would be my privilege and honor to assist you when the question is asked…

Our Mission

As a minister I see a lot of weddings and have realized how important it is for a couple to feel that their wedding is unique and reflects who they are. It is my mission to help you with the questions and procedures that can be frustrating and difficult if never having faced them before. It’s important that you find the right person to perform your ceremony and who can guide you through the many situations that may arise. My primary goal is to create a meaningful experience by effectively telling your love story. We have all seen numerous weddings and have a good idea of the various components required. However, it’s my desire to craft your ceremony the way you want it and not just create another cookie cutter walk-through of what others have done. Your wedding, your story!

Robert Ashley

I am a licensed and ordained minister in Houston, Texas. My ministerial background is unusual, having served at a variety of denominations including Baptist, Presbyterian, Non- Denominational and Methodist. My experience has given me a unique perspective of a successful wedding ceremony. And my more than 30 years of ministry experience assures my clients of a seasoned and professional officiant, not someone who received their credentials through an online ordination or licensing service.

Photography

Since we see and do a lot of weddings, we can point you to some of the top wedding photographers in Houston (and videographers).

Venues

Booking a venue can be time consuming and painstaking. Let us point you to some great venues in the Houston area and help you bypass a lot of the headaches commonly encountered.

Music

Music serves as an important factor of every wedding. If you are considering live musicians during your ceremony, or even a band for the reception, we can help.

Robert is the perfect mix of light hearted hilarity, while being an easy going professional. I have referred his services to many friends, and they have all had the same experience.

Even the venue director at our wedding was impressed by Robert and added him to her preferred list of officiants, and she has seen hundreds of weddings. Stop searching and hire Robert. Trust me!

Things

to consider…

Helpful hints can be the key in creating a memory that will last a lifetime and serve as a reminder as to why you said, “I Do.” It is our honor to provide a lasting experience, not only for large weddings, but small ceremonies as well. We’ll give you a wedding packet that includes information for just about everything you can think of concerning your wedding. Information like, where do you get your wedding license? Does it have to be in the county where you’re being married? Or, how many days before the wedding do you have to get the license? Here are a few considerations that might help.

Timing

The average wedding is about 18 to 22 minutes long, but there are several things to consider when planning. Is the wedding outside or inside? Are there small children participating in the ceremony? Is the wedding during the cold part of the winter or the hot part of summer? How long before the ceremony have your guests been waiting? Timing is always a crucial part of every wedding, and there are simple solutions to every question.

Style

You’ve probably seen viral videos of wedding parties performing a coordinated dance. Obviously, it’s not for everyone but it doesn’t hurt to think outside the box. Adding a Unity Candle, Sand Unity Ceremony, Love Letter and Wine Box Ceremony, or perhaps just some heartfelt words you would like to share with one another can add just the right touch and satisfaction.

Sound

Wedding planning can be a nightmare because there are so many details that need to be thought through. One of those details that seems to be overlooked a lot is a sound system for the officiant. For a small fee, we can provide a sound system and wireless mic if none are available. The system can be used for special music during the ceremony, family or friends who may be sharing something during the wedding, or introductory music for the bride’s entry and the newlywed’s exit.

Public Speaking

Sometimes the very thought of having to speak in front of an audience is enough to scare people out of getting married. So, you may be asking, do I have to speak at my wedding? Do I have to repeat vows? Luckily, the answer is no. The necessary components of a wedding are your confirmation, desire to be married and having an authorized officiant perform the ceremony. Other than that, we would encourage you to create the wedding you’ve always dreamed of.
